This week there's alot of good stuff coming to an end. I'm bummed!! I'm gonna let you know what I'll be watching:
Sunday night: The Celebrity Apprentice it was great, I'm psyched Joan won. I never thought I liked her, but I have a whole new respect for her. I had to replay Donald tell Annie she was fired like 10 times because the look on her face was great, she thought she was gonna win.
Desperate Housewives: good episode, I thought it was the finale but it's next week, should be a good one and it's 2 hours!
Monday: Dancing with the Stars semi finals...I still can't believe Lil Kim was let go!!! She was great to watch and I like Derek too. The Bull rider or the gymnast must go.
The Hills - Heidi and Spencer are just good TV. No, I'm no 13 years old.
Tuesday: The Real Housewives of New York Reunion Special, Apparently there's a part One and Two. I can't wait to see the fights! I'm counting down the minutes!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey: I also can.not.wait. for this one, these women are probably the most ridiculous bunch of all seasons, it looks great. There better be a fist fight.
Wednesday: Lost, enough said, I can't wait. I think it's a 2 hour episode. I don't know why it has lost viewers, it's great, they are answering lots of questions.
Real World Road Rules Challenge, Once again, I'm not 13 years old, I like this show, I mean they show the drama at the beginning, but I actually like the challenges, and there's always a good chance The Soup will make fun of it. They are really a bunch of idiots in a house together that drink too much and fight.Thursday: My name is Earle, I love this show. It's always hilarious but has a cute meaning behind it. The characters are just freaking hilarious, Randy and Joy have definitely made me laugh out loud.
The Office - Another show I can laugh out loud. Dwight might be my favorite, of course Michael Scott is fantastic too. Creed can usually make me laugh out loud too.
**new show on at 11pm, Southern Belles Louisville on the SoapNet. I looks like a Real Housewives type show.
Friday and Saturday....Nothing I watch on a daily basis.
Sunday -Desperate Housewives finale.
I'm gonna have to figure out my Summer schedule. There's "I'm a celebrity get me outta here" show i'll have to check that out, oooh and the Bachelorette!
Enjoy your tv watching this week! What will you be watching?

OMG, an unattractive person can sing?
Ok, am I the only one getting sick of Susan Boyle, the Scottish singing sensation? I'm not sick of her, well, because I don't know her. I'm sick of the publicity she is getting. Now, I just read she got a new haircut. Who cares? What is the big deal?
So, she can sing. Are they making a big deal because she's not attractive and can sing? What the hell? Is it shocking that unattractive people can sing?
Oh well, good for her, she's getting attention for her singing and she doesn't look like Beyonce, Brittany, Rihanna, or Lady GaGa. I wish her luck, I just wish people would stop making a big deal that unattractive people can have talent.

So it's that time of year, it's my birthday!! Yay, that's always fun!
I don't have a job, I don't have kids, I dont't have a lucrative 401k, i have a low self esteem about myself right now but, guess what I DO have:
1. A wonderful husband. Wonderful can't explain what he is,he makes me laugh, he is my best friend, my cheerleader,my teacher, my Everything!!!!!!
2. Lisa - my best friend, she is beautiful, smart, really funny, and tells it like it is. She don't fool around. And also my partner for fine dining.
3. My parents.. They really shouldn't be number 3...they are the ones who taught me how to be me! And thankfully, they made me into be a pretty darned good person, I think! They taught me alot. One was to never judge people, and also to never screw over you friends for a boyfriend. Because your friends will be there longer than a boyfriend. And they were right! I was always annoyed about my friends in high school that ALWAYS had to have a boyfriend. Well, I was never a "boyfriend" girl.
Another thing I learned from my parents is: "Well, do your friends like him?" And guess what it means ALOT to me to date a man that my friends like because, my friends ARE my family. Well thank Goodness, Karl was "friend approved".I guess I was too.
Karl has a ton of friends that approve of me that I love too!
I think i have babbled enough......I love my husband, my parents and my friends! Happy Birthday to Me!

Uh oh.. car died.
My friend growing up had a wonderful grandmother that we called "Nan". We would stay at her house, raid her fridge for snacks and play in the funky basement. I don't mean to sound insensitive but, the day came and she had passed. My whole family knew her and my mom is a good friend of her daughter, so obviously, we would travel down to Baltimore, MD to attend the sad event.
We went to the cemetary, which I really hate the most, it's the saddest part, the final goodbye.
My family and I went on our way back to the car, a brown chevy impala station wagon that we named the Family Truckster... like in Vacation.
So, like at any funeral we drove to the cemetary with the lights on, well, my father left the lights on during the ceremony. So what happens? The car battery is dead...in a cemetary, what a coincidence? My dad is the type of person who will not rush out of somewhere, like the last person who stays in the movie theater and let's the crowd leave.
So there we were, my Mom, Dad, Sister and I and the deceased in a cemetary!
We had living company though, the hearse and the driver. So, my dad got out of the car and said in his South Philly accent...."Hay-yo pal, can ya gimme a jump?" Meanwhile, my sister and I were hiding on the floor in the backseat laughing hysterically and embarassed. So yes, the Hearse had to jumpstart the family truckster in the cemetary...our station wagon and hearse were probably about the same size.
Well, we made it to the luncheon afterward, we walked in with our heads down, embarassed because we were late. My friend's brother asked in front of everyone, "What happened? Did you get lost?" My dad has a history of getting lost... we said, "Nope, worse".
After he pleaded with us to get an answer we finally told him and the entire family started laughing. So, for the rest of the lunch, everyone kept saying, "Uh oh, car died..better call a hearse!"

Blind Date
So this blog comes from the Mama Kat homework assignment and by popular request, this is my side of the blind date story.
I was living in the city, and got a ride home for Thanksgiving from Los's friend who was dating my roomate at the time. As I was going into my parent's house, he said, "my friend lives around here" I said oh, what high school? what's his name? Then i said, I know everyone in Delco! Well, I didn't know my future husband.
So, my roomate and I met her boyfriend and Los at a bar on Janurary 5th. We had the kinda awkward first conversation that went into..."So, how bout that John McCain?" I'm shocked I didnt roll my eyes, turn on my heel, and walk out...I don't talk politics, especially over martinis on a Friday night. So, we hung out and had some drinks, then on to the next bar......
As we walked out of the bar, we were waiting for our friends and I got bored, so i decided to "card" people as they came into the bar. I saw a few peoples id's and said, "Thanks, have a good night." Los looked at me like I was crazy or something.
We then got to the North Star Bar....one of my favorite bands was playing and of course i was dancing like and idiot. By this time, my roomate got completely wasted and her boyfriend had to take her home, so I was left with Los, who was a complete gentleman. I don't remember too much of the conversation that night because of the crowded bar. I did, however invite him back to my place......
His friend would stay over my apartment all the time but that night since the bar was close to his apartment he took his drunken girlfriend there. So, non-thinking me, decides to ask Los over to my apt. where I think his friend would be and we could all hang out late night. We get to my apartment and nobody was there, so I entertained him with my silly antics for a while and then I offered to let him stay!! I told him we could sleep head to foot but then our genitals are still in the same area...yeah, thats from seinfeld, but so true. He of course said No, and after a while of sitting and talking he left. I woke up the next morning and realized he had to get all the way to the other side of the city to get his car....in the snow!
So, after that crazy blind date night he called one Sunday afternoon and talked for hours then went on our, as i call it, second 1st date, out for sushi (the first sushi place was closed due to a family emergency, what are the odds?) then to a bar where he asked me if he could kiss me and knocked over all the barstools in a row, and that's when I knew I was gonna marry my lovely, lovely Los!

The Bachelor-spoiler
Yes, i'm watching The Bachelor...I need to start counting the candles, fires, and how many times the word, "Amazing" is used. This poor girl below did not get a rose, I think I noticed the look on Jason's face when they were having a romantic dinner and she goes, "I like Bears" then talked about bears and forgot what they were talking about....wooops. Oh well, goodbye Nat!
